Question Kmail logs

Hi,

I'm running SUSE 9.1 and using Kmail for my email. Receiving mail works fine but it won't send anything, mails just sit in the outbox. When I try to send I just get the message "Failed to send (some) queued messages".

Now, I'm fairly sure that my settings are correct. I want to see why it's failing exactly but can't find any log files. Can someone please tell me where the Kmail log files are kept?

Thanks,

HH.

Is it failing to send all messages, or just some ? Move the first few message in the queue to the drafts folder, and then try sending again. If it still fails, then yes there is a problem (I'd try a few other mail smtp servers if you can). Otherwise, malformed, bounced junk email has been known to not send.

Cheers,

mj

All outgoing mail fails. I've tried sending to other e-mail addresses that I own but it's no good.

I'd like to get Kmail going if I can rather than change to another mail program. If I could see the log file, it might help me track the problem down.

Thanks,

HH.
