killall gnome-panel

how come when i refresh the gnome panel it closes gaim? how can i stop that

nadroj 06-02-2005 09:29 PM

does it close gaim or just remove the entry from the panel? check "ps aux" to see if gaim is actually still running, maybe it is, but is hidden/not showing in the panel. can you alt+tab and get to it?

simple 06-02-2005 10:04 PM

closes it completely

nadroj 06-02-2005 10:08 PM

does it just close gaim or any program that is listed in the panel?
