Keyboard shortcuts not working (Gnome)
Hey, I don't know when this started happening, but my shortcuts such as Super+D to minimize all and go to the desktop and Ctrl+Alt+T to open a terminal, etc, have stopped working. How can I fix this?
Other shortcuts, such as Alt+F1 and Alt+F2 work correctly, as well as the compiz ones. Cheers |
I had a similar problem when moving to Gnome3, some shortcuts I created didn't work especially when using [Mod4] (windows) key however these worked fine running Gnome2. It looks like Gnome has taken control of that key entirely, I just replaced that key with ctrl+alt.
Hope this puts you on the right track. |
Hmm, not really, I'm using Gnome 2, and problems aren't specific to any key combination, whether I assign it to the windows key or ctrl-alt, it doesn't work.

Anyone?

what are your recent changes to the system ? |
i think that updating your system will most probably solve the issue......at least that is the solution that i got for the same problem

I haven't recently installed gnome2, nor made any unusual changes, just installed some software from the repositories. Updating the system does not solve the issue. But thank you for the suggestions ;)
