Keyboard shorcut "Ctrl + Enter" in Linux with Mozilla or FireFox

HI, with Windows, we can open an url just with entering the url address name then use keyboard shorcut "Ctrl + Enter" to get the "http://www" and ".com".

For example, just type in the address bar "linuxquestions" then hit "Ctrl + Enter". The url will automaticall change to http://www.linuxquestions.org.

I can't use/find how to use this keyboard shorcuts on LInux. I've tried Mozilla and FIreFox. Is it available (the keyboard shorcut)?

Hello and welcome to LQ. You're quite new here so we know it'll take some time to get settled in but this is the Linux Security forum and your post is not about security. I'll move it to Linux Newbie for you.

BTW "CTRL+Enter" works for me in Opera and FF.

In Mozilla and FireFox I type in linuxquestions and Enter to get the same effect that you are asking about.

Also Ctrl+Enter works the same way in Mozilla and FireFox.

Sick of bot posting problems from a different forum verbatim on LQ
in irrelevant boards. Banning the thing and closing the threads.
