keyboard problem
 

hi, new on linux aandd with a keyboard problem:(

how do i chande the tiping speed? i mean, when i write a leter how do i change the time it takes (when i keep pressing) to repeat that leter? and how i change the speed of that input?

pllz help me i'm driving mad, writing word like thiis,, orrr thissss orr evvvvvvvvveeen whorsst....you see?



btw is there any irc channel that i can go to ask questions about linux?

In KDE look in Control Centre / Peripherals / keyboard

There's something similar in Gnome but I haven't used Gnome in ages.
