Keyboard Matlab
 

Hi all,

A few days ago, my keboard did not type the quotation mark in Matlab (a software I use much). However, it types it in everywhere else in linux. I add a new keyboard layout and the problem was solved, It worked 3 or 4 days just fine.

Yesterday, I found that I cannot type any letters in Matlab, only numbers and special character could be typed. I return to the old keyboard layout but it did not help.

Any suggestions?

I am a juvenille linux user.I downloaded the following zip file
mod-frontpage-mirfak_1.6.2.orig.tar.gz.
I would like to add the front page extensions on ubuntu ver 8.10.May someone please give me the step by step commands of doing so.
