Keyboard keys using Knoppix 5.1.1


Hello finally succeeded getting to the internet using linux. Problem is on my keyboard my y is an x and vice versa, Cannot find @ which is a ". Using a eMachine T 3304 with a eMachine keyboard product also. Hard to navigate or make commands.

If you are using Knoppix as a liveCD, from the boot prompt enter this: knoppix keyboard=us (or an appropriate 2 letter code for your country).

Google up a copy of Knoppix cheatcodes to learn more.
