Keyboard doesn't work on KDE

I've done some updates, but I don't think I've done something illegal that made keyboard not working.

Is there any suggestion how to re-make my keyboard to work on X again? I'm clueless...

Thanks.

What do you mean by not working - nothing at all is working? Do the caps lock, num lock and scroll lock indicators toggle on off then you press those keys? Can you type anything at all?

the indicators are working, but I can't type anything.
although, CTRL+C breaks out of the KDE to the terminal.
I can type in terminal, but I can't type on after X is running.
It's a USB keyboard (microsoft Internet keyboard OEM)

It's weird...
