kernel-source
when i tried to install NV driver by "sh NV*" , i got following error
error: Unable to load the kernel module nvidia.o.This is most likely because the kernel module was built using the wrong kernel source file ,please make sure you have installed the kernel source files for your kernel; on red hat linux system s, for example, be sure you have the 'kernel-source' rpm installed. if u know the correct kernel source files are installed, you may specify the kernel source path with the '--kernel-source-path' command
so i downloaded "kernel-source-2.4.22-10mdk.i586.rpm" and run the comand
"rpm -ivh kernel-source-2.4.22-10mdk.rpm" but it gave me the following error
error:failed dependancies
perl-base is needed by kernel-source-2.4.22-10mdk
python-base is needed by kernel-source-2.4.22-10mdk
libc.so.66(GLIBC_2.3) is needed by kernel-source-2.4.22-10mdk
can somebody give me some idea to solve this problem
