Kernel Panic :VFS: unable to mount root fson 2.0


Can you help:
Portmap:server 192.168.0.14 not responding, timed out

Root-NFS: Unable to get mounted port number from server using default

Root-NFS: Server returned error -5 while mounting /tftpboot/192.168.0.15

VFS: unable to mount root fs via NFS, trying floopy

VFS: cannot open root device “NFS” unknown-block(2.0)

Please append a corrct root= boot option

Kernel panic………

You didn't tell us what you are trying to do, network boot? Did you build your own kernel? Or this error came out of blue on a working machine?
