Cool Kernel Panic Error

Hi Again

Need help urgently thanks.?
I keep getting this message on my system every time i disconnect my SATA Dlt-V40 tape drive from my lunix redhat 7.3.
"Failed to EXEC /sbin.modprobe -s -k block-major-3 errno = 2
Mount: error 6 mounting ext3
Pivotroot: pivot_root(/sysroot,/sysroot/initrd) failed:2
Kernel panic: no init found. try passing init=option to kernel"
Does any one know how to get pass this.?

This is an error in your initial ramdisk image it is failing to load a module that it needs to access your root filesystem.
one thing to try is to rebuild your initrd file by using mkinitrd

I tried that command mkinitrd, nothing happened.
