Unhappy Kernel Panic

Dear all,

I have used the kernel source 2.6.11 to complie the new bzImage. Ihave checked the bzImage is okay and follow the instructions to do.
However, I think that I still make the mistakes, so it still has a kernel panic.

The error message is : Kernel Panic, not syncing : no init found

I am looking forward to hearing from any helping hand to me

Thx a lot

Do you use an initrd? If not, remove the initrd from the kernel and tell your bootloader not to use one.
