Kernel issue
 

I have kernel 2.6.9-22.el for centos4 and for virtual server I need to patch it with hidden patch. once I do that what do i do?

I compile kernel again and do make install? Am I missing anything?
What are the steps after I patch the kernel?

Tell us more. Details, details! What do you mean, "hidden" patch?!

Oh, sorry! For setting up linux virtual server there is a hidden patch that handles arp problem....of course I can't patch it perfectly but it works fine for certain files... anyway, i thought just knowing that something is being changed in kernel is enough .....
