Kernel Headers??

I need the kernel headers..... I installed the source, the entire thing, and it still says I have no freakin' kernel headers. The kernel that I'm messing around with is 2.2.19. I am trying to install modules for my winmodem. it says the headers should be in /usr/src/kernel-headers-2.2.19
But... wait... they're not.
Anyway, it says i can make a symlink to them, how the hell would one do that???
Where I believe they're located is here:
/usr/src/linux/include/linux
I even tried to mv them to /usr/src/kernel-headers-2.2.19
but I had no luck. maybe I am wrong and the headers are not in /usr/src/linux/include/linux
Where can I find them, either in this package or on the internet? My distro is slackware 8.0.

you need a link in /usr/include to /usr/src/linux/include/linux - this should work:

ln -s /usr/src/linux/include/linux /usr/include/linux
