kernel header
hi guys, i'm looking for kernel header for 2.6.18-0.5..i'm installing vmworkstation...
what is the repository that will get me this header? if not is there any other ways to get it?

Usually you'll have to get the sources. Headers are part of them.

that is what i thought too,, but apparently under yast kernel source and linux kernel header is 2 entity. which result in my problem now that kernel source and running kernel are of the same version but header is not...i think i might have missed a crucial repo that should have the header info...

O.o i dont know y, i dont' know how..but i reinstalled the same header..and did the config again,,and now its recognized a new folder for header which is /usr/src/linux (version)/include..and it is moving forward..
ummmmmm
thanks for all ur help up to this point,,lets consider this solved..heheeh (>.>) but i'm sure there will be more questions comming from me regarding to this...so thanks again!

You are welcome. If you had filled in you user profile, I'd known that you use SuSE and could have told you definitely that the headers come in this distro with the kernel sources ...  .
