kernel compiling
 

hallo,

recently, I've tried to install wlan(prism2_usb) drivers on my computer, but it seems in order to do it I need to recompile my kernel, is't true?

if so, how to do it? I've installed my mandrake 10.1 with kernel 2.6 automatically, and I think I don't have a source code of kernel, where can I find it?

you can find vanilla sources (i.e. the official linux sources), as well as a few common patch sets at http://www.kernel.org.
