i need to install either 2.2.18 and above or 2.4 to be able to even start trying to install my first linux. the reason for this is i need USB support from the very outset of the install (have no other ports). How do i even start to do this? I havent got a clue!
Well, its either you can download from the net, if you have fast access, I wouldn't recommend doing it if you have dial up, of you can get the latest copy of Linux from your retail stores, like Suse, and most of the latest veriosn out there have 2.4 shipped and ready.
