Kernal won't install
 
I am trying to install linux on my bros pc. However when I get to the installing kernal it fails. Why does installing the kernal fail and how can I solve the problem?

The kernal fails for installing mepis, ubuntu, kubuntu and suse.

Please help!

what do you mean by "installing the kernel"?? we need some useful information to help you. (and it's a kernel, not a kernal...)

How can we help when you fail to tell us what error/failure message(s) are displayed when the failure occurs?

Consider using a "Live" distribution to see what happens when you try to run Linux directly from a CD (or DVD if your bro's PC supports DVD booting).
