kernal panic-not syncing
Wary puppy
tried to install Wary on a Intel Core 2 Toshiba using a DVD disc it stopped @ " kernal paninc -not syncing:attempted to kill init!" any suggestions |
Kernel panic can happen for a number of reasons. Some generally because of hardware.
How old is your pc? Try disabeling SELinux-(if it's that) http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1...nit-without-er If your not suspicious of the HDD or cables on their way out, try another distribution other than Puppy. -::-Generally Puppy is ran Live-::- http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...l-init-353920/ Run Memtest overnight to make sure the RAM isn't bad. When I had the kernel panic error that you had I found out that my HDD had bad sectors on it and had to purchase another HDD. Check the health of the HDD- http://linuxconfig.org/retrieve-hard...on-using-linux http://unix.stackexchange.com/questi...of-hard-drives |
Thanks for the instructions
