Kernal Compile Basics
 
I'm very new to Linux. Is there a document/how-to that gives some information on when I need to recompile my kernel and how exactly I do that?

(why do you call it a "kernal"?? i never know where this spelling mistake comes from??)

hahaha...that's just a typo on my part. Most of the tyme I kan speel purty gude. Thanks for the help
