I found this link: http://ubuntu.wordpress.com/2006/02/...pressed-error/

However, I am using SimplyMEPIS on a desktop pc (I am using a microsoft wireless keyboard/mouse combo) and I do not have a hotkey-setup folder/script. I've asked on 3 other forums, with no real answers... hopefully I can get this fixed here.

Point your browser in the direction of "keyboard support howto".

The article is mostly about lineak, a utility to map the easy access and multimedia keys on a keyboard. It also describes how to test your keyboard using a utility called xev. Follow the procedure to map your keys, and determine which are throwing the errors.

I just scanned the document, but I believe it also names the file to edit to correct the errors.
