KDM to GDM...how to switch?
 
Ok, I have both kdm and gdm installed but when it loads the login it's kdm by default. How can I switch to gdm? I would like to know becuz I'm more of a Gnome person than a KDE person. Just fyi I am running on SuSE 9.0 Professional.

in a term window or command line type............

xwmconfig

you'll get a menu to choose from...........

i have had the same problem....bash replies command not found!?

Same here,I googled it and said to go to /ect/sysconfig/desktop but I have nothing close to that,I use Debian,didn't try it as root,may be hidden?

/etc/X11/default-display-manage O.K. that is where mine is.

Well I have RH 9 and at the login screen at the bottom their is "session" click on that and a popup with youre options shows up. I can switch between my different desktops and choose the default.
