hello,

had that in the syslog when my machine suddenly restarted x (?),not too sure if this is the case, i just found myself back to the splash screen asking me to log in.

when i do, i find that my wlan is still on(i usually have to manually turn it on every time use the computer)

the other things that was running on my machine before it restarted was gone though (xpdf and amarok)

if i remember correctly, i was resizing the xpdf window just before it happened.

what could be the problem here? and what could i do to prevent it from happening again?


BTW: this happened a couple of times before (around 2-4)but i didnt take note of it.

i'm using slackware 12.1.

ummm... what kind of details do you need? im not quite sure which log file to check. the title was the msg i got when i checked syslog right after the 'incident' .

are there any more log files that i could check out so that i could post more information about the problem?
