kdevelop "cannot find plugin for c++"

Hi,
I installed kdevelop3.1.2 previously. It was working fine. Now, i got a source file for kdevelop3.2.1. I had no problems with installation. But, when i try to open a project, it says "Cannot create language plugin for C++". I uninstalled the new version, and again installed the old one(3.1.2) and was baffled to see that the same message appears again.

As for as i am concerned, i didnot make any modifications for my makefile. All i did is
./configure
make
make install

Can any one help me out what to do.

thanks.
