kdeinit problem, going to try to install kde.. How?
Hey, I am going to try to install KDE again.. But I have no clue how, I don't want to do it from the CD because evertime I try to boot it.. It fails.. Or the installation goes fine tought.. But when I try to start KDE.. It says kdeinit something something.....
The machine can't fnd or load kdeinit.. So I just going to try reinstalling it from the web or something.. How can I do that? Can maby someone make an guide? Or show me an guide.. That would be great...! |
before trying a new installation try to remove the .kde directory from the home of your user. I don't know why, but sometimes it makes KDE not to run... But take care, because you will lose all of your previous KDE configuration (if you have any). So, make a backup before ...

When asking about how to install something, it's helpful if you specify what distro you are using as that makes a difference on how it's done.
