kde2.2 and RedHat 7.1

I've been trying to upgrade to the latest kde2.2 (from version 2.1). I install all the rpm's, and KDE will startup OK. When I try to login, however, I get the following message:

There was an error setting up the inter-process communications for KDE. The message returned by the system was:

Could not open network socket

Please check that the "dcopserver" program is running!

You click on OK, and it takes you back to the login screen. Anyone know how to fix this error?

I had the same problem. Go to rpmfind.net and search for libfam.so Grab an rpm and install it and it should take care of the problem. Good luck!
