KDE Uninstall
I need to uninstall KDE because for some reason when I went to install it after I was running Gnome my disk one started giving me problems. The disk has no visible scratches and I just used it like 2 days ago for the install. I dont understand what is going on.
When I goto try and install the KDE again it says its already there. (Its not because when I press alt+ctrl+F8 to swap to KDE it just gives me a blank screen with a blinking cursor) Someone please help. I am trying to uninstall all of the KDE objects that it will let me. Then I plan on rebooting. I dont know that that will help any but I need to do it anyways as I have upgraded my kernel. Also if you have any tips or tricks for a beginner I would be very appriciative. Like I mentioned above I just installed 2 days ago and do not know much about the Linux OS. What I do know I do like. Thanks in advance, JS |
