KDE themes, splashscreen, background: How To Create my own??
I am trying to figure out how to make my own KDE themes, splashscreen, and background and then install them. I did a Google search, and I found out how to change a theme if it is already installed. But I could not find out how to make my own themes, splashscreen and background. There was an old post on Linux Questions that was supposed to have a link to explain how to do it, but it does not work.
The KDE site www.kde-artists.org is not working either. Do I need KDE software to make my own theme, splashscreen and background? Then how do I install them onto Linux? |

Gnome tips, thanks!
Thanks for the tips on Gnome splash screen settings. I would like to try that too. I still want to find out how to make my own KDE themes, splashscreens (both boot and login), backgrounds. Isn't there a how to guide or tutorial on how to do that?
