Kde settings

I just installed Ubuntu Server, and installed KDE over that. There's some things that don't work right. Like, the settings window for Konqueror. I can change stuff, but the "Apply" "Ok" and "Cancel" buttons are off the screen. Also, the toolbar seems very, very cluttered. Is there any way to break them up? To have this section along hte bottom, and this one along hte side, or top, or something?
Or would it be better to uninstall them and install regular things? Like, replace Konqueror with actual Firefox. Etc, etc.

I'm very new at this, appologies.

Edit: Also, is there a way to change the mouse clicks? Clicking on something just one time is very annoying..

Posting a Screenshot might help us better understand the problem.

Also, did you take a look at the KDE Control Center? It is the main control center for KDE, you will find many options there, and probably exactly what you are looking for.
