KDE settings

My question is regarding the KDE settings:
I set up the desktop under user "root" (all the kdelinks, icons and so on). I want to know where does KDE store all those settings and is it possible to copy them somehow in order to use those settings under my other ID on my machine. I have two IDs: root and other username

On your root directory ./desktop and other settings are stored on Hidden Folders ./

i think most of the user's kde config files would go to .kde/share in your home directory

I've copied whole folder ./kde from my root's home directory to user account's directory, but KDE looks absolutely different in those two accounts. So I suppose I have to copy another settings too.

/edit
question is which settings and from where ;)

Why would you do any eyecandy in root? You should spend NO time logged in as root, so in theory, you would never see it.

It's best to just apply the settings to your specific user account. Not good to tinker around with root.

That's the reason why I want to copy my root's KDE settings to usual user's KDE. I customised KDE under root and now I don't want to loose it all (read, I'm too lazy to do same work for user's account :D)
I use Slack for 3 months already and I'm logged in as root all the time. So far so good. I didn't break anything yet ( I guess lol)
So, is there any way to copy those settings to usual user's account?

I guess you could copy your /.kde dir to your $home/yourusername/.kde dir.

I don't know where the root's is, because I stay out of there, but do a search for ".kde".
