KDE questions

I can't compile a simple c program on KDE from linux mandrake 8.2.

Even the "hello" won't work.

What are the steps that I must follow to make programs work?

Where can I get some good KDE tutorials. I know some c, so I'll need the command reference.

Can anybody share a source code for a programme that writes a text in a text filed in another window?

Thanks.

I'd recommend using KDevelop to start programming for KDE. Make sure you have gcc and the development packages installed from Mandrake.

"choose console"? Where?

Open a terminal window and cd into the directory with your code, and try that command on one of your files. If it doesn't compile.. then maybe you typed something wrong in your .c files?
