KDE program running under GNOME???
Does anyone know if it is possible to have a program written for KDE running under GNOME? I want the "Kstars" program from their Edutainment package ( ), but I use GNOME as my GUI of choice and have everything set up for that.

Is it possible to have programs written for one GUI to run in another???

Yes thats normal. All you need is the kdelibs installed and it will run.

KDE is fully installed although I don't use it as I did a full install of Slackware 9.1. I take it that that would include the KDE libs?

Thats correct. You can just start kstars. Either create a menu entry for it or type kstars into a console.
