Kde Menu, Need Help

When i use Mandrake 10.0 and install programs dosen't the "fire up" file moved to the kde menu.

After that I add the "fire up" file in the kdemenu it will not start. The file is in the menu but it dosen't work (it only is, don't do anything)

I think that i have to add some commandlines in "advaced" (or something).

how do i do this?

Or how do i get the "fire up" file to work

want to add Firefox and Thunderbird (mozilla)

How do you determine what constitutes
a "fire up-file", and what do you do when
you manually add it to the menu?

Cheers,
Tink

Not quite sure if I understood you, but if you wanna add entries to the kde menu, you have to use the menu editor. Right click on the K button and choose menu editor. Basically, you have to add an entry and then give it the path to the executable. You can also add new categories.
