KDE Login Screen

I was checking out and found out that I could change the boring login screen that came with the SuSE 10.1 Distro. Once I figured out which kdmrc file to modify I was much happier. The thing is now I want to make my own. I checked out one of the folders and using GIMP I was able to tell that the graphic folders were jpg images saved in a png format. The key I think is an .xml file. I tried a simple test using just a graphic file, but it didn't work at all. If anyone could point me in a direction to try it would be greatly appreciated. I am using KDE 3.5.1 if that helps too.

Thought there was a link on the subject on thier page. I can't find it right now.

Anyways the xml contains the code to place images and place login section and other available options. I have made a few but used others and changed images and loactions on the screen for the login detials and misc. as for the image type it can be either png or jpg. Thats as far as editing one I have done. If the orginal was a jpg I replaced it with a differnet jpg. same goes for png. If I get time I might do a search for the website I am thinking of on building kdm themes.
