KDE Help Center not allowing searching.

GNU/Linux kernel 2.6
Slackware 12.0
KDE 3.5.7
KDE Help Center 3.5.7

Hi:
I click Main Menu>Help. There I'm asked if I want to build a search
index. I say yes. After several minutes, I get the following on screen:

From now on, if I enter KDE Help Center, there's no way of making the
Search button active. I've forgotten what happened before the index
creation with this button but I guess it was, all the more so, inactive.
Any suggestion? Thanks for reading and regards.

I can recall running into some problems with indexing too. I'm sorry I can't help now, but If I has similiar problems I'd go to the KDE irc channel because KDE devs are really nice people they use to help me a lot in the past.

Have a look here
