I been messing with kmess - it asked libfam for install from source.... and now I lost my KDE desktop and the gnome thing .
What are the rpm's or srpm's I need to use to get both back ?
Mandrake 9.1 , P III , 196 MB , 20 GB hardware
Thx
Firstly Twilli - ty for a response.
I dont get an option of KDE or any other desktop at boot ( Window manager or session manager , I think it is in Linux :-s) .
I just get a start button with Linux written in it , and I tried session managers - no options to use KDE or Gnome. I used to get an option to choose session on logon or logoff.
I am okay with source or rpm installs - but have not been able to locate the url appropriate for this.
