KDE faster with more stuff enabled?
 

Hey your going to think I'm werid for saying this but I installed KDE with then lowest graphics options and it went slow like I mean S _ L _ O _ W ...lol I mean the mouse cursor count keep up with the window highlights

however I desided to put some beef on this puppy and for some reason now the mouse cursor can keep up with the menu highlightings etc.... like I have transparencys on etc...

but why? This also happed to me in 3D acclerated games if I pushed my graphics card it would preform better.

I own a pretty old 3D card and no DRI is not enabled!
my card is a 3DFX Voodoo 3 3000 AGP
