Well, I got into X in Mandrake 8 now I have another problem. I read the documentation but can't figure out how to get into gnome using the console, it's not my default but KDE is.. well every time I move the mouse KDE drags the colors and lines all over the screen so it's hard to do anything. Do you have any suggestions to either fix this or how to get into gnome with the console so I can give that a try??? Or maybe how to configure it so it goes to the graphical login. I've read the documentation and will continue to read it but I can't seem to find anything.

Thanks!
