KDE daemon keeps crashing in Mandriva 10.1

Hi

Any help will be appreciated, my mandriva linux KDE keeps crashing when i just logged on.......

Keeps prompting "kdeD crash.........follow by "ALSA" sound crash.

Whats going on ? i uses Acer 370, set my monitor to acer vendor.....
Xorg is installed.......

But e funny thing is tht when i log in as root, it stops e "Crash prompts.......

Any advise????

Mdk is a buggy distro... that's one thing. And the fact that KDE (However much would I love it, I have to say this) is buggy too. Many ppl have the same problem. For the sound msg, disable the sound in KConfigPanel.

BinJajer,

I am using mandrake 10.1 from last 3 months and also used in past. I found it stable on my system. What I think that no distro is bad. Its just the tuning between your hardware and distro. If a distro don't work on my system then it doesn't means that it will not work on your system too.

Just my thoughts!
