Question Kde 2.2.2

I've just finished downloading the relevent RPM packages for the KDE upgrade. I just placed them in a temp directory I created as could find no info on where to place them. The package manager is unable to open them. It appears as if they should be placed in a specific directory.
Is this the case? Which directory?
Ta,
Sleekit

are you talking about yast2? i've never figured out how to use yast2 on dl'ed packages either. your best bet (imho) is to cd to the directory you downloaded them to and type:rpm -Uvh *.rpm that way rpm will work out the dependencies and install them in the proper order.

remember to run /sbin/SuSEconfig
after you install the update.
