Kboot Help

I am trying to install yellow dog 6.1 onto my ps3.
The blue-ray is not working so I am trying to install off
a memory key.

I get to the Kboot: prompt and I don't know what to do.
I am not a regular linux user.
I know the usb drive loads and the keyboard but can't seem to
know the command line to access and exacute the install file..

any ideas.?
Thanks
