kannel is able to send but can not receive
 

am using nokia 5800 xpressmusic of which am able to send i tried using minicom to initialize the modem with different AT commands but gives an error. please help....

If your problem is specific to Kannel, you better ask it on Kannel forum (users@kannel.org). I am part of that mailing list and I can guarantee you that you will get assistance.

In the meantume, try the following:
1. Put Kannel in debug mode level 0 (the most verbose);
2. Look at the outputs of Kannel after you start it;
3. Redo the same actions that did not work as you expected (not receive);
4. Look at the outputs of Kannel after those actions;
5. Report all those Kannel outputs.

thanks alot user@kannel.org is really helpful. am waiting for a relpy on bind error system already in use, its annoying killing the process running on the port is there another way of permanently ressolving this problem every time i re-run the kannel this error pops up
