First, please use proper punctuation, and please spell out your words. This is not Twitter, there is no character or word limit. The easier it is for people to understand what your problem is, the more help you will receive.

Your post is very short and contains very little information we could use to debug the problem. Could you please explain the problem and your attempted solutions in more detail? Please avoid phrases such as "it's not working" or "it didn't do anything", these are not descriptive and don't help the situation. If something doesn't appear to do what you want, please explain in detail either what it did do that you didn't expect, or didn't do that you did expect, and what specifically it should be doing differently.

The 10.xxx.xxx.xxx IP address tells me that this VM is using a NAT network adapter.

Change the network setting for the Kali VM from "NAT" to "Bridged."

Normally, VB is very good at selecting the correct bridged adapter. If it doesn't work the first time, click the "Advanced" arrow beneath the "Attached to" item; if multiple adapters are shown, try them one by one until you find the correct one.

I will second suicidaleggroll's advice regarding posting here. Generally, the more information you provide, the easier it is for others to help you. Also, for many LQ users, English is a second or even a third language; the closer you keep to the conventions of standard English, the easier you make it for them.

I'm pretty sure you must explicitly enable networking in Kali.

"I can't seem to get my local IP address in virtual box to set my LHOST" is confusing.
web-searches seem to indicate that you set LHOST (but I'm not sure what's meant here)
Try this web-search: set lhost virtualbox
Here's a recent article about books for learning Kali.
Best wishes; welcome to LQ. Here's a post about using LQ.
