Kaffine 3.0 autostart
 

how do i get Kaffine 3.0 to stop automatically loading everytime i start my comp???

in your home folder there should be a directory named .kde/Autostart... check if kaffeine is getting called from there every time kde starts...

I have only '.directory' in my (user)/.kde/Autostart, but kafeine autostarts anyway... any other advice?

there is an option in the icon in the bottom right corner of the screen. the default is the orange circle. in there you can tell it to not load on boot/login.

I tried using the system tray kaffeine bean and could not stop the autostart. Someone posted another method using YaST, but I've lost that post. I will keep looking for it, but if anyone has the answer, would you post it here? Thank you.

Use KDE Control Centre/KDE Components/Session Manager,
then tick off "Start with an empty session".
