kaffeine , printer !

Hi , i have two questions , the first is my kaffeine is starting itself everytime i i start or restart my computer(suse linux) , even when there is no cd in my cdrom and there is no option on kaffeine that can disable it start automaticly , how? please guide me..
The second question is about my printer , i'm using cannon bjc 255sp which is quite old. There is no driver for it in suse 9.1 but it should work with bjc 250's driver right? Ok ... when i click the test button , it ask for the authentication password , i tried my root pass and my pass and even a new pass ... but all failed , why is it so? Help me! Guide me! :) Thank you...

Hi.

KDE by default opens at startup the applications that were open when it last shut down. For some reason, when you disable this feature, it continues to open the apps from the session before the one in which you disabled the feature. Have a look in ~/.kde/sessions (that may not be exactly right, but you should be able to find the right directory in ~/.kde) and delete all the saved sessions. When you restart, the problem should be solved.

As for the printer problem, try running kprinter as root.

I don't know how to do it in a shell - sorry.
Post the output of this command:
Code:

ls ~/.kde/sessions

I had the same problem with kaffeine.

Here is where you can find the Session Manager:

"K"->Preferences->KDE Components->Session Manager

Change "On Login" to start with an empty session.
