Do you have sound working? If no, type in the shell su [enter] your password[enter] alsaconf [enter] . Follow the instructions on screen. If you do have sound, try the rest of what I have posted below.

I am using some info from this tutorial: http://www.black0ps.com/tutorials/Li...on+edition.php
The part which interests you is:
++++++++++

Start Yast. In the software section, click Installation Source. Click add -> http://.

In the Server Name box, enter – packman.iu-bremen.de

In the Directory On Server box, enter – suse/10.0/.

Make sure it is enabled, and set to refresh. you should now have a lot more packages – some of which are important to this tutorial, and some of which are just very useful.

Kaffeine is on the Packman repository which we set up earlier. With both the repository, and CD install sources activated, go into Software Management. Do a search for Kaffeine, and it should appear on the right. Select uninstall. Then proceed until it finishes. Do the process over again, this time selecting install for Kaffeine. When you click Proceed/Ok/Finish the appropriate amount of times, Kaffeine should work.
