Unhappy K3B problem (unable to find cdrecord / cdrdao)

I've just installed k3b for the first time. It installed fine but when i run it as a normal user it gives me two system configuration problems.

Unable to find cdrecord executable
Unable to find cdrdao exacutable

I don't get this problem when i'm under root and I know that the proper packages are installed.
Any help would be great.

=================
Slackware 9.1
KDE 3.2.2
Kernel 2.4.22
K3B 0.11.10

They're made that way - you're not supposed to run apps like that as a normal user Grip, GCombust, cdrecord, mkisofs, etc.

It has to do with access permissions on the cdwriter.

cool,
Laura

when I got home today and started k3b the problem was gone. I can burn as a normal user now no problem. I guess it just needed a reboot after creating a new group (burning).
