K-menu lacks System submenu entry

Hell bite my ass, today I got one junk sort of a problem:
I opened the k-menu editor by right-clicking the button, then selecting menu editor.
I just wanted to do some beauty surgery, rearrange some entries, just like that. Then I accidentally dragged-and-dropped the System submenu to some other submenu. I dragged it back and thought I had gotten it back in place, but that filthy piece of crap so-called editor apparently deleted it. Of course I saved the settings since I had already done the rearrangement of the other items and was still thinking the system menu was back in place. But when I opened the K menu again to admire my surgery, the System submenu was gone; and i didnt find it in any of the submenus or sub-sub-menus.
Now guess what my question is: I want the System submenu back. I wouldnt mind restoring the default K menu configuration as i havent made any serious modifications to it so far (except for the one just mentioned), but how am i gonna do this?
Quick help, please! I dont wanna reinstall my otherwise fully functional linux system, just because i screwed up that cursed menu.

Hi!

Try right click on the Kicker (the panel) and choose configure panel, go to menus and see if system is checked if not check it and your K-menu is as fine as it was!

I have tried that already, but the system submenu is neither checked nor unchecked: it's not there. Neither in the menu editor nor in the panel config.
what now?

Hi again, at last i have solved the problem, and i thought someone with a similar problem might be interested in my solution:
I deleted the file whose name i have forgotten in the folder ~/.config/menus (contained only this one file)
That's all. That caused the k-menu to return to it's initial state right after the installation.
