K-mail Host Problem

Using KDE Version 3.2.1

When logging into K-mail I get a dialogue box...

"E K-Mail
Could not connect to host localhost"

I know that I have the correct address for the POP & the SMTP.

Maybe that I have changed a default somehow?

Thanks for help.

Do you have something like Firestarter or Guarddog installed? Maybe your firewall is blocking you from connecting.

Neither of those are installed.

I am stumped.

All other suggests are most welcome.
