K-Console as terminal emulator

A Chairde,

I am connecting to a device using a serial cable and K-Console as the terminal console.

The Distro is SuSE , and when I connect with Baud Rate etc ... , I get " Line Busy" , I use same setting with HyperTerm/ Win XP , and get connected ...

Any Ideas ????

Can you give us a little idea of what you are doing. I have never heard of K-Console. I did a search for it, and three hits came up, none of which had to do with a terminal program. Are you sure you don't mean "Konsole"?
